after a day at home (i felt like shit) i am back in the agency designing decorative fish for the office. quite a challenge as u can imagine. otherwise, it's been a very chilled day, eating sushi for lunch and drinking a starbucks coffe of the day. very exotic! well, having a real coffe can be very helpful after being sick to ur stomach.
the day before yesterday, alex and i were introduced to a 'real' chinese restaurant, with chickenfeet, chickenhead, intestine, sharksoup, and all the other great stuff. however, alex really topped it. he had a dish of PURE PORK FAT and he LOOOOVED it. haha, thats how u get sucked into the chinese culture, eating pork fat. i ordered a big fat dish of pure vegetables, it was wonderful to have something in ur mouth thats still crisp and not cooked and marinated, neither slimmy, nor sweet and sour.
alex is probably dragging me to that restaurant quite soo again. he needs his fat...haha, he is gonna kill me if he reads this. ohhhhhhh shit.
anyway, i am happy he didnt eat the intestine, he would have probably made me try.
other than that, theres not much to tell. we've got interviewed by a 'journalist' from the american ambassy today. she is doing an article on dmg and therefore us, being the 'creative force from europe'...or something like that.
we'll see how that goes.
alex has been partying, again! he is developing into a partyking. while i am at home watching a movie, he is out checking out all the girls at susi wong's and all the rest of beijings bars. i feel like i am 60. but then again, i m not really into russians. haha.
anyway, tomorrow i am gonna go out with alex to the 'stammtisch' where all the foreign interns in beijing meet and mingle. wow, expatsbubble!!!!!!
